The user in the file receives a real-time popup notifying them you're requesting access, and if they have sound on, a 'ding-dong' to go with it! As soon as the file becomes available for editing, you'll receive a notification (and optional email) with a quick link to jump right in. Simple, effective communication and a huge time-saver. Alert Smart Client Users from Outside Encompass
Web Doorbell is an extension to the original smart-client-only doorbell utility. This utility allows TPO and Encompass Web users (from outside the Encompass smart client) to request a smart client user to exit a file. Once the user is out of the file, the requester gets a notification back. The web doorbell can also be loaded on any third-party site to allow for ringing. Set up SMTP credentials in Infinity Solutions to provide email notifications from third-party users to Encompass users. The user requesting access will also get a notification advising that the loan is available for edits if configured via SMTP.
